Skills for Sustainable Livelihoods
During our March event in Solwezi, youths were trained in the traditional method of making salted fish — a simple, low-cost technique that preserves fish, adds value, and opens doors to income-generating opportunities.

As part of its partnership with SENZA, WILD Zambia (Wise Intentional Leadership Development - Zambia) equiped youth with leadership skills rooted in influence, integrity, and human connection. By focusing on communication and emotional intelligence, the program helped young leaders build stronger relationships, lead with empathy, and collaborate more effectively.
Flavor, Preservation and Opportunity
As part of our March training in Solwezi, youths learned how to prepare smoked chicken — a method that enhances flavour while extending shelf life. This skill offers a practical way to add value to poultry and create new income opportunities in local markets.
